Most of the localities in Kolkata are well connected with taxi, buses, tram, local train and metro trains. The only thing I would like to add is Auto rickshaw in Kolkata is not widely available to book. But for the route where it’s available, it’s much cheaper than the normal man pulled rickshaw. There is no meter system in auto rickshaw here and that’s why you can’t book it, rather you can use it on shared basis and it’s very cheap.
